Explorations In Typography app for iPhone and iPad

This companion app to the popular Explorations In Typography textbook allows you to learn a wealth of information about the art and craft of fine typesetting. Using the various typesetting controls in the DIY toolbox, its easy and fun to play with changing the size, leading, font and paragraph indication because you can very quickly see how the text type in paragraphs changes in look and feel as these typographic variables change.

The toolbox allows you to typeset brief article by Erik Spiekermann in a variety of fonts, many from the FontFont iOS Mobile font collection, and learn about the design details and history of each one. Every DIY Exploration setting also includes a brief "more info" explanation as well as pop-up notes about what makes that particular one work.
